Submit an Obituary

Below is a form which can be used to submit obituaries to our online edition and daily print edition.

The deadline for obituaries for our daily edition is 8 a.m. Monday through Friday and for our Saturday morning edition, 8 p.m. Friday night. The charge of a print obituary is $.99 per printed line for the first publication. Additional day, full-length obits are $.50 per line. Additional day, shortened obits are $.99 per line.

Remember to include on the form all pertinent information, including birth date, death date, survivors, predeceased, funeral services and any other information you would like printed in the obituary.

Please also remember to include a funeral home contact person and telephone number. Daily Courier personnel will continue to call back to verify the obit and to give a quick read back. Any obituary that appears in the daily edition of the Daily Courier also appears online. By utilizing this form and our online site, there is a reduced risk of errors occurring.
